Arcadia’s Trituration
Cadaverous legions usurp God’s adytum
Angels absquatulated in abhorrence
To Lucifer’s phantasmagoric impertinence
Towards consecrated realms of the sacrosanct
The archfiends wail horrisonously
Machinating ministerial extirpation
As Arcadia is triturated ceremoniously
Martyrizing recalcitrant archangels
Crepuscular ophidians cachinnate
Extort Christ into coprophagia
Jesus Christ’s neoteric predilections
Egesta gluitition and humicubation
Satan immerses in angelic carnage
Burnishing his impious thurible
Reaped from St. Peter’s stigmatic clutches
Smoldering the cinders of his ecclesiastical heart
Hell inundates Heaven ensuing it’s ruination
The gates decimated occluding ingression
Unhallowed angels transmogrifying into demons
The dynasty of Christ has been slaughtered

Yeah, I know some of these words!
Kidding aside, this is a trap that I used to fall into. I think we, as poets, get so wrapped up in the beauty of language that we forget that there is an audience out there that has to read and interpret what you've written. There is nothing wrong with flexing your obviously impressive vocabulary skills, but it's also equally important to look at what you've written and try to see it from your target audience's point of view. Is what you've written accessible to them? If so, great! If not, how can you edit it to make it more accessible? I'm not suggesting dumbing down your poetry, but I think, too, that it's a little much to ask of your audience to have a dictionary right at hand when they read your work.
I fully accept that I may not be your target audience with this, so take this advice with a grain of salt.

It's actually intentionally written with this kind of vocabulary. It's intended as a technical death metal lyric.
