Devil To Pay

“Yeah, I was also bullied on the way home from school. They'd call me patches dancing around me cause my clothes were hand me downs and clothes that were repaired best my mother could do working hard at two jobs. As we, my mother, a half brother and half sister were very poor in the 50's. My answer to this bullying because of our social position in Society and never ending poverty was a two foot rock fight! I bounced a few rocks off them hard they ran away quickly calling dirty fighter. Yes there was the devil to pay for my actions, but on the other side those jerks never bothered me again” ~Duke Deltree~
