I crawl back
Into my cave
In the darkness
Of the night
Where try as it may
Light of the moon
Cannot reach
The depths
To which
I have tunneled
And in the morn
Suns rays
Cannot penetrate
Past the curved entrance
Cleverly constructed
With purpose
I shall remain hidden
Hiding
The fool
That I am
From prying eyes
Few know my secret
And it shall remain

To protect him?
