Follow You Down
I see the ripples of familiar faces
As their eyes pierce the watery veil.
I know they see the ugly truth in my eyes,
But I'm unable to meet their gaze to introduce my hell.
Air bubbles float to the surface
As my voice catches and gargles into nothingness.
I hear muted cries and mototone advice, but they do nothing to heal this distress.
The bodies of friends sunken to the deep
Drowned in their sorrows and my feeble childish woos
They're too far gone to hear the sounds of life I hear
Yet I fight the call of a void so sweet I'd never again say goodbye to you
As their eyes pierce the watery veil.
