Why, why us, she’s just a kid.

Going back ten months ago my sweet little innocent 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with Lupus.
She spent nearly 8 weeks in hospital being poked and prodded until both her tiny little arms were covered in bruises.
She will be at its mercy for the rest of her life and believe me this disease can be fucking ruthless.
Your  own body and organs come under attack from the anti bodies that your immune system produces, essentially your immune system declares war on your body and in doing so renders itself fucking useless.
Its a life changer there’s no question about it inevitably your quality of life it reducers but there is no way it will take away her spirit,her fight it’ll never dim her shine it’ll never take away her cuteness.
This whole experience has taught me something that I didn’t know and that is just how brave and humble an 11 year old girl can be and it was in that moment that my baby girl became my heroe.
Your always asking yourself, why, why us, why our little girl and why would a so called god have such diseases and illnesses in his world.
There is nothing anyone could say to me that would make me want to pray to a god or believe in a religion, that’s nothing more than just hear say based on a book that’s just fucking fiction.
