Dust Bunnies
We lay in the grass looking to the clouds
Trying to make something out of nothing
Those aren't bunnies we see
They're dust particles collecting moisture
But we need to see bunnies
And we do
The mind goes through twists and turns
Trying to make sense of a mixed up world
We love and hate
We're young and then old
So we look up to the clouds to make sense of it all
And what do we see?
We need to see bunnies
And we do
We lay in the grass holding each other's hand
Looking to the clouds then into each other's eyes
We've made so much laughter
We've weathered so many storms
I couldn't love anyone but you
You are the one
"Let's act like bunnies"
And we do
Trying to make something out of nothing
Those aren't bunnies we see
They're dust particles collecting moisture
But we need to see bunnies
And we do
The mind goes through twists and turns
Trying to make sense of a mixed up world
We love and hate
We're young and then old
So we look up to the clouds to make sense of it all
And what do we see?
We need to see bunnies
And we do
We lay in the grass holding each other's hand
Looking to the clouds then into each other's eyes
We've made so much laughter
We've weathered so many storms
I couldn't love anyone but you
You are the one
"Let's act like bunnies"
And we do
