Dont forget
When I look back on past regret
a stranger stands beside of me
the scars are still so raw
my heart still flutter, now in retrospect
its mirage never flee
Gone soft words, to melt
with arms so strong, support and help
hanging on to one last straw
not shield the blow that has been dealt
I stand alone all by myself
Diamonds wrought with purity
the togetherness, of you and me
and in blood to each we swore
the sparkle, was it paste maybe
a great romance for history?
The morning passion lark that sang
in fading shadows of regret
when I was fighting tooth and claw
its song, not bridging as I wept
feel the tears still stinging, as it swept
The we, I thought a brave concept
that missing's; deep dark empty day
the heart, its dreams implore
the wish that we, just don't forget
were we just, so passe ?
For each vision; and each besot
for love in tragedy, flown away
you were the ring I never wore
and in some context, steaming hot
for Swan Lake our last ballet
a stranger stands beside of me
the scars are still so raw
my heart still flutter, now in retrospect
its mirage never flee
Gone soft words, to melt
with arms so strong, support and help
hanging on to one last straw
not shield the blow that has been dealt
I stand alone all by myself
