Maybe we wasted the days
And the inspiration slipped away
Betrayed
Cuz we cheated our dreams
And tripped into drowning normalcy.
Maybe we borrowed a wish
And our will wasn't strong enough to follow.
Loosing the rush, the love, all eyes on us.
Maybe we just gave into what's expected.
Sacrificing our spirit, our dreams.
But maybe just maybe we should never give up hope.
