You said you loved me
So you said you love me, and I believed as a child would believe in the tooth fairy. Oh what foolishness I carried. In the fairy tales of reality. I thought it would be you I would marry. No happy ending only thing I believe now is that you were pretending, Just masquerading hearts in the fog. No magical kiss no princess, no prince no frog. Sadly ever after sits a lonely man like a bump on a log. So you said you loved me, and my ears believed every word. Now without my heart beating loudly for you it's the biggest lie I ever heard. Yet I love myself and found the love I deserve. So your love I don't need it. If I love you ever fall from your lips to my ears I won't believe it. You said you loved me, how can such a beautiful woman tell a lie so ugly. I am over you but that lie still bugs me.
