Can you hear the darkness?
Can you smell the fear?
Can you see the hopelessness?
Can you taste the tears?
Can you touch the loneliness
that lies beneath the pain?
Can you breath the emptiness
that is almost insane?
The rush of color inthat scream?
The sound of that silent cry?
The aftertaste of a haunting dream?
The tingle of that exquisite high?

The subject of synesthesia is very creative and you have written a good poem....now I think the reason you have so few comments is that most people do not know what synesthesia is....
My advice would be to use the first commenting box and insert a dictionary definition of the ability to see colours in music and other such neurological mysteries ....and then explain it in your own words.....GOOD WORK

Yeah, you are probably right:) Where should I post the definition? In my comments here? I can post in the first comment box because it will be after your comments. I am not sure if that is what you met. I tried to edit to post it but i don't see anywhere that I can. Thanks for taking the time to read my poem though. I would love for you to check out some of my other works as well:)
