Misty
If I could dissipate
into a fine mist
I would fall upon
your skin
with that delicate touch,
collecting in the finest beads
to skin uncovered
like the faintest caress
drawing goosebumps
to your flesh,
beneath that summer dress
the hidden geography
awaits an exploration
and the excavation
of buried pleasures
longing to surface
and I will return to form.
into a fine mist
I would fall upon
your skin
with that delicate touch,
collecting in the finest beads
to skin uncovered
like the faintest caress
drawing goosebumps
to your flesh,
beneath that summer dress
the hidden geography
awaits an exploration
and the excavation
of buried pleasures
longing to surface
and I will return to form.
