Ghost Lover

When we made love, oh how she did love
With passion and total devotion
Jen brought forth from the depths my being
Creamy salt gifts from the ocean

It was the saddest of days, when we said goodbye
Death came to Jen much too young
She was tormented within
And hurled her life to the Sun

Each night now I have only visions of her
Smiling and begging for more
The woman I’m with takes on a new shape
The form of lost loves I adore

Please kneel before me and smile in the dark
You’re bringing both Jen and me joy
Thank you for giving us enough love for us both
And mending the lives once destroyed
