What good is a stiff upper lip
When I can't keep
My lower
From trembling
Heartache bears down
Even from the past
And I have trouble bearing up
Here in the present
Not only have I lost my love
I have lost the ability
To love
And that hurts the most
The heart takes a goddamn long time
To heal
