Unseen
You walk by my side
And look into my eyes,
But you can't hear the silent screams
Behind the sheer veil of tears.
I wear the face of a clown,
But there's blood dripping
From the moments of madness
Spent clawing out my own eyes.
Hands that once held promise
Shake feebly as I pick up
My broken pieces.
Fingers cracked, heart growing heavier
And darker with shadow.
I want to die
But you don't care.
And look into my eyes,
But you can't hear the silent screams
Behind the sheer veil of tears.
I wear the face of a clown,
But there's blood dripping
From the moments of madness
Spent clawing out my own eyes.
Hands that once held promise
Shake feebly as I pick up
My broken pieces.
Fingers cracked, heart growing heavier
And darker with shadow.
I want to die
But you don't care.
