Love
Love has dealt me a bitter blow
A straight shot to the heart
Forever alone with a fistful of pain
Destined to be apart
This love of whom poets shall write
And leagues of men do praise
Has ripped to shreds my lonesome heart
And mocked me all my days
Love’s made me loathe the happiness
That other’s hold so dear
And caused curses to flee my blasphemous mouth
And strike out at all who draw near
You say my pain must have a cause
What made me feel so bad?
The reason why I hate love so
Is because love I have never had
