First Contact
Dragonfly, the first plasmaloop drive interstellar spacecraft
accelerated to a thousand times the speed of light
(the faster it goes the faster it can go)
harvesting the electric potential difference
between spacecraft and rarefied plasma environment
to charge ultra capacitors which discharged in propulsion
on the two day journey to Proxima Centauri's Planet B...
Dragonfly aimed for the planet's predicted position
using reverse propulsion for deceleration
arriving into successful orbit without incident
to be met with the unexpected vision
of another very large spacecraft nearby...
sensors activated, planetary probes deployed
Dragonfly set to work gathering all relevent data
before leaving orbit in the direction of the Sun
in its preprogrammed return to Earth
using its plasmaloop drive to speed back
to the excitedly waiting electrical engineers
and Electric Universe physicists who had built it...
little did anyone know First Contact had been initiated...
