Goddess
There is no Universal instruction
on how to survive duhkha—
each person is individual
I cannot alleviate your heartache—
only listen, question you into yourself
where answers gestate
far from chaos
It's a silent knowing of spirit
recognizing your own truth—
and the exact reason
no earthly words exist
Your Goddess is a patient sage
allowing free choice—
awaits your wise return
unto the Source
of your own joy

Amazing depth A...as the Buddha said...we must be lanterns unto ourself. I find that many of us westerners miss the deeper meaning of the First Noble Truth...life is full of dukkha...we have a tendency to think about the suffering and disappointment in our own lives...ego?...of course the man was also asking all of us to consider the pain and suffering we cause others on a daily basis, some of which is just the inevitable unfolding of life. Buddha eyes my friend.

Thank you, my dear friend! The Buddha's wisdom is eternal and internal, right alongside all ascended masters of the truth. And all we have to do to access that library is open the door to ourselves! Isn't that wonderful.
Namaste, my friend, and Blessed weekend! xo

It's your choice to question or accept your lot in life as is. Once you question, you have to wait and listen for an answer. If you don't even realize you are asking a question, intuition is often the answer.
This seems is a far cry from what is taught in religions that are male deity dominated, which seem to be more about prayer for an outward correction of a situation in the form of a physical intervention---
and a seeking of absolution rather than solution.
"no earthly words exist"
until you tune in and receive them.
All beautifully encapsulated in 5 quaint stanzas; simple, as spirituality should be.

Phew, got side-tracked yesterday and have been swamped today! I still have our classic challenges to tackle. I'm trying to get some other things out of the way first so I can focus solely on those.
Religion teaches reliance upon a physical shepherd to lead you ( be it priest or pastor ). And, yes, confess and receive absolution. Spirituality teaches you to rely upon the Universe in faith and trust, and hone your intuition to its voice.
Thank you. ❤📝

The idea that " he who has the most toys in the end wins" I think is B.S.
I would rather think " he who shares what toys he has is blessed. " That would make for a more peaceful world.
Excellent write Ahvanti.

It's empowering to think of our potential self as a personified goddess, it becomes an aspiration to reach her, maybe she is our mom that lives in ourselves, the female energy as giver. But as you mentioned, we must choose to return to her and recieve that self love that we might not feel worthy of. Women are taught to be weak in a male dominated society, this could be the cause of dukha for women. Maybe the goddess image is a remedy for it :)

Thank you, Poetsrevenge. Male dominance is definitely produces a form of dukha for women. And, yes, It is very empowering indeed to recognize one's own source of strength. Thank goodness that form of lesson in regards to females is changing! More and more mothers are empowering their daughters to be themselves, to rise above the traditions of subservience to become independent and true to their own dreams and desires.
The Universe is comprised of both masculine and feminine energy, or yin and yang; thusly, are we each comprised with the same energy. The goddess is just as alive in males as god is in females. That is the beauty of balance, if only more would connect with its power.
Thank you again. Much appreciated.
