We    (two old men)   waited at the garden gate
for the girls to come back
with their life-affirming
                                                qualities
that were kinda lost to the type of two-old-men that
we were.
              And wait we did, didn't we Willie? It was worse than
being a day late, dolla short, as far as "waiting games" be
concerned.  You became  rather impatient in waiting for your
newest flirtation.  I, as always, was as peaceful as a dove
amidst our 'wait'........both of us 68yrs old (you, about to die, as historic
biography informs us).  Me, 68, and written off for dead numerous
times this 21st century.  

             What can one say when one is almost dead at 68?

              &, y'know, I could possibly/maybe make it to 69, (perhaps).
