I'm so excited! I'm hosting my first ever Poetry Competition on DUP. It's called 'Simply The Best' and I would love for you to come and support my efforts.
I suspect most everyone here has written a poem that they feel is better than the rest of them. Here's your chance to show it off. It's going to be like the battle of the bands but for poets instead of musicians.

Well done and congratulations on your first poetry comp! I do hope you will judge it yourself, or enlist a panel to assist you vs sending it to public vote! That has been a really bit issue as of late. It's ironic that what I consider my best is not what DU members consider my best. On the contrary, it's always the ones I struggle posting that seem to receive the most likes and RL's. Strange that.

You're a sweetheart! I'm looking forward to seeing what you submit. I will not have a public vote just so you know. I have real life judging experience and will do my best to be fair.
