Heathens Kingdom
I am my brother's keeper
Because I am not like Cain
I am tired seeing my people
dying in vain we don't want to
hurt no more please take
away the strain and the pain
Policeman draws his gun
he's trained to shoot to kill
Another child is slain
We're being put down like
wild animals forced to look
at our blood spilled on the
Concrete all blooded up
And covered up in white
sheets and it get deep
But wounds do heal
In the meantime who
really cares of how we feel
Debilitated and paralyzed
We are still marching and
protesting for our lives
Because yes "We All Matter"
And no one deserves to get
bruised and battered
It's a war zone we aren't
Even safe Inside our own homes
strapped up with
9mm's and 45's to protect our bones
Killing each other pointing
a pistol at your own brother
Leaving behind children
and weeping mothers
Violence and more violence
Everyday it gets more violent
Can we please for God's sake
get a moment of silence…………..
