Bodies at Peace on the Shore

There is a moment behind locked doors
When decisions of consequence are made
We both knew there would be no return
Our threshold of lust had been crossed

When I entered your receiving vessel
Both of our lives left the shore
Waves of passion not meant to be tamed
Tossed our bodies to and fro in a raging wind

It began with a rush of wetness and heat
At the base of my jaw it flowed ever down
Through my trunk as I swayed
That burning narrowed into one shaft of light

That shaft you’d warmed wet with your mouth
Now pumped deep inside of your richness
At the moment determined by ocean waves
It thrust all that I am into all that you are

The waves then subside and the storm is no more
Our bodies fold in peace on the shore
Thankful for the giving and receiving of love
