Senseless Emotions

I’m choking on all the words to say
All of the pain of being this betrayed
Living in a place full of lies and deceit
Has left me believing I can’t be complete
Well this perception is seeping through
That I am the gift and the curse is you
 
I can see what you tried to blind
I can  hear what you tried to mute  
I can taste the good inside my mind
I can feel all that is within the taproot
All the senseless emotions I gave away for you
 
I’m putting myself for once & you call me selfish
Honestly I put a false belief first & left me
Selfless
I’m sorry I was daydreaming inside this haunted nightmare  
Trying to imagine a reality where everything can repair
Seeing above all of this, The air is so much better up here
Where all of these black clouds finally become all so clear
 
I can overlook the shade pulled over my eyes
I can now catch the speech in all of this silence
I can love all of the bitterness that always cries
I can hold all the passion that’s in my benevolence  
All the senseless emotions fading out of the blue
