THE OLD YOU AND THE NEW YOU

WHY WEAR A MASK SOME MAY ASK is it to be completely expose behind wearing a mask, are to be able to be able to unmask the image of the you, that once was you so long ago lost within the turmoil of your subconsciousness, yet you slowly began separating from the you that has gone unnoticed and unseen. For some may ask WHY SHOULD YOU chisel away through the stones and broken, pieces of shatter glass going over each subconscious form of symmetries and lines of secret prophecy. For they say don't make your mind make you your own prison, were you are the prisoner for life will teach you to escape through levels of unconsciousness. For some may even ask WHY WEAR A MASK is it to hide the tears that falls from your eyes, flowing leaving stains of the drops of blood that pours from your heart. For they say confession is good for the heart and soul, yet isn't that just throwing caution to the winds hoping, for an gentle breeze to pick you up and carry you away someplace close. But if you must know WHY I WEAR A MASK as an disguise yet beneath the surface of my subconsciousness, lays images of moments spent together as one but from what I had to learn to face, breaking the truth of every rule of give and take to the point of trusting someone. So truly from the depth of my deepness within my heart. But yet you still ASK WHY DO I WEAR A MASK is it to hide my scars, that goes deeper than words can truly describe or explain. For do I wear a mask because of the fragments tormenting me, in the mist of the confusion within the dead of the night or did I grown tried of the mask. For some even ask me WHY DO I WEAR A MASK for did I chose to live behind a mask as an disguise, trying hide secrets from preying eyes whom may or may not understand. What it truly feels like and looks like to be treated, with betrayal and distrust and disloyalty to the point, you felt uncomfortable and unwanted and unloved. For even though life seems to be a masquerade party sometimes, hidden behind psychedelic lights giving you glimpses into segments of life's, utmost experiences of journeys and travels and walks. Yet through those transcending moments that felt, like slabs of shattered glass and granite rock dropping down on you, yet somehow you  managed to learn to navigate through the storms of life. For you are no longer wearing a mask as an disguise, for the old you is long gone for enough was and is enough. For you have been upgraded to a whole new level of subconsciousness and confidence, for its sad to say that sometimes we create our own personal prison but sometimes you have to break your own DAMN CHAINS.

I FELT IT NECESSARY TO WRITE THIS PIECE...FOR OUT THERE SOMEWHERE AND SOMEPLACE THERE IS SOMEONE OUT HERE, WHO NEEDS TO HEARD AND BELIEVE THESE UNSPOKEN WORDS WHO HAS BEEN ACROSS THE STREET, LIVING AND TRYING TO LOVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE YET BENEATH THE SURFACE THEY WERE CHOSEN, TO SURVIVE THROUGH THE STRUGGLES THAT WOULD DESTROY MOST HEARTS AND SPIRITUAL SOULS AND MINDS, FROM THE OLD YOU TO THE NEW YOU WITH AN NEW ATTITUDE...STONEY BAY
