Who Are You?
Who are you,
you stunning beauty?
On what grounds have we never met before?
The long dark hair and even richer eyes
look wiser and older since being shaken at your core.
Who are you,
you loving beauty?
When did you become so free?
When you turned your troubled eyes inside
and gave the pain no place to be?
Who are you,
you warm beauty?
Where has the chill gone from your soul?
The ice in your veins now warm to the touch
as you found a new way to be whole.
Who are you,
you at peace soul?
How have you come to such bliss?
Was the siren song of true happiness
something you were just unwilling to miss?
To behold you now, radiant with love newly awoke,
is evidence enough of the power of real hope.

Thank you for your wonderful competition entry. I absolutely loved them all, and will find inspiration and hope from them in the months to come. As well as being direct and beautiful, this had a fabulous form and makes a great shape on the page. Well done.
