How Deeply Do We Seek

Not to say I can or I can't
Or if only
But only to say
What if
And open the door of possibility
Is that not flight
Not depth nor height
Or earthly sphere to bound you
But the infinite
And were we not made thusly so
For who is it born so low
Who never had an idea
And tasted the delicious fruit
Distilled as inspiration
So do dreams go unanswered
Or by the jaded just unheeded
As if it's a burden to spend pensive time in pondering
Tis a pity to use such heavy words
To describe the soul's dance within the light
If the world indeed grows darker
Light fails not for me
For darkness needs the more
Mystery and magic
But mostly
More imagination
