She was gone
On a green mountain-side
Sat down amongst the clover
Admiring the view
But gone
He’d invited her in
To see his cave
He was looking for pity
All she saw was desire
For good & noble things
And he was most depraved
Fooled around & found out
Where canyons lead
Where parachutes land
The sun beats down
Slowly removing us
Having turned the key
She is thunderous & holy
I am unworthy still & yet again
She reals me in
Our sins almost legitimate
On a green mountain-side
Sat down amongst the clover
Admiring the view
But gone
He’d invited her in
To see his cave
He was looking for pity
All she saw was desire
For good & noble things
And he was most depraved
Fooled around & found out
Where canyons lead
Where parachutes land
The sun beats down
Slowly removing us
Having turned the key
She is thunderous & holy
I am unworthy still & yet again
She reals me in
Our sins almost legitimate
