You stepped all over my heart
Like it was cheap, redneck cocaine
You stepped all over my heart
Come and step on it again
You insulted the size of my manhood
You laughed at my pain and my tears
You shared our bed with another
Confirming ev’ry one of my fears
Candice, I’ve loved you forever
But you left me and I cannot say why
Without you I can’t face tomorrow
So I’ll lay down right here and die
