Women be their own worst critics  
 almost perfect, never finished  
correct every flaw and blemish  
augmentation in the clinic  

Artist's see what they should be  
in the light that falls  
stroke them in a perfect form  
visions for perpetuity  
 
As a man, I see outlined a halo  
 humanity's  goddess of perfection

in that undress, each pert exposed  
 to countenance a centrefold  
perfect nakedness that few behold  
 
The backlit form upon the drapes  
 peach of youth that glows so bold  
 mind alight, plush velvet sheen unfold  
lithe limbs profiled in stark delight  
 
Carved from base metal into pearls  
exquisite form with no mistakes  
for what was bound is now unfurled  
so sweet, demure, so delicate  
 
Marble carved and come to life  
imperfections  all without a blight  
a specimen that stands uncaged  
the bud to flower in a vase  
 
And Michelangelo He'd seen  
 the inspiration of his dreams  
and leave that form, his legacy  
the art of perfect nudity
