Embers
Embers falling from the sun burn into my tongue as passages of rage begin to consume me, guiding the fire, ignorance ignites me pleading the lie
I'll show you my anger as it burns down our walls, you told me when we built them that they would last forever
I've become the monster so you wouldn't have to, my final act of love so you’d better take it and run
