Great parallel structure with this ... one line stanzas sustain the momentum ... there is a clear building ... the ending comes ... like a hammer ... undoing the fragile scaffolding of belief built over the previous several lines ... and ... as an alcoholic ... it speaks the ugly truth about addiction ...
