A phone call (her wish)
All she wanted was for me to talk to her on the phone.
I was dying that day, I wish she would have known.
8 months now separated on the opposite sides of the country.
Kids, jobs, love just leads to more heartache and poetry.
I wish she knew I tried to call her on the phone.
Now that I am dead it will forever be unknown.
