Running In A Circle
Time keeps on drifting away from me
Nowadays I’m not who I used be
Every time I cry
My vision isn’t so clear like it used to be
It just gets harder and harder to see.
My life has always been crooked
There’s never been a straight line
Set out for me
I still try to make the best of it though
Day by day
Old friends
Are starting to leave
My family is going down
One by one
It’s feels like I’m running in a circle
I keep going back to the same ending
But there’s always a different beginning
My lord is listening every time
I speak to him
He gives me the strength
To move on and be strong
To overcome the obstacles
One day I’ll
Reach my silver lining
At the end of this darkness
I just have to believe
And one day I’ll be relieved.
Nowadays I’m not who I used be
Every time I cry
My vision isn’t so clear like it used to be
It just gets harder and harder to see.
My life has always been crooked
There’s never been a straight line
Set out for me
I still try to make the best of it though
Day by day
Old friends
Are starting to leave
My family is going down
One by one
It’s feels like I’m running in a circle
I keep going back to the same ending
But there’s always a different beginning
My lord is listening every time
I speak to him
He gives me the strength
To move on and be strong
To overcome the obstacles
One day I’ll
Reach my silver lining
At the end of this darkness
I just have to believe
And one day I’ll be relieved.
