non-lethal
combat theatre

I cannot deny
my attention seeking
behaviors

Tactical not tactful
innocent all the same

The enemy is not
a human or a group
It�s a mess of
toxic slogan-soup

I�m the last person
who aught to be
into this

except I feel like
I have to let the
ideas taking hold of me

take flight into the world
I�m not manic -

I�m agitated
emotionally a snarl

Sad, caring, angry
surely you all can relate
But still...

....why did I have to
stick myself out there
knowing I�m not
equal to the job?

Perhaps because
I heard the challenge

Silence is violence
start the conversation
silence is consent

Well I will not be
silent

or consent

I am for peace

I reject the
ultimatum

Until innocent
slandered
misrepresented
peoples of all colors
are acknowledged
as oppressed
by the same
oppressors

we cannot stand
together
against injustice

"Attention seeking" is a term that can be misused in order to discredit people who are sincerely trying to reconcile themselves with past traumas - and their consequential maladaptive behaviors through others (which is necessary and beneficial when the trauma affects the personality), thus giving the impression of simply "seeking attention" - this is usually a consequence of extreme abuse and neglect which impair the sufferer's capacity for healthy interpersonal transaction.[7]

Everyone here at DUP is allowed their opinions and the freedom to express them, but when the manner in which those are put forth , ends up offending the very ones who you (collective �you�) seek to uphold and bring justice and fairness to, then one of the many meanings of the saying , �the road to hell, is paved with good intentions�, ends up being applicable . Basically, what was intended for good, ends up backfiring because the approach taken toward the goal, was not necessarily the most appropriate one.
