Gig Harbor

It’s safe in the harbor with its easy chop
Where the tide is not hurried to reach shore
Rather playfully rocks to perfect sounds and smells
Wearing  the sun like a crown with high arches
Reflecting the different shades of shoreline pines
That sparkle inside its jewel shaped clouds
Eventually the tide will head towards deeper, darker waters
Leaving behind all its calm and reflections to enjoy
