Sadness covers my heart like a blanket
Drowns me in a pool of blood
and I hate it
This sadness is why I am alone
I can't even feel safe in my own home

This sadness leads to depression
With depression, it has no discretion
It shows up with no remorse
For me, depression is an unbeatable force
I can never finish this course

I can't beat this unbeatable force
My heart aches to be free
Does nobody hear my desperate plea
All I wish is to be free
I can't seem to flea this prison

Why don't you Listen
Can't you see me struggle
You swear you understand
But more you demand
My hopes and dreams you Disband
you only misunderstand

My life cannot and will not be planned
Not by you
I am not your clone
