electric power from the Sun
trickling down has begun
to save the Earth from the fires
through burning stuff so our desires

can be placated, so that we
can drive our cars endlessly
can use our phones, cameras too
can send these words from me to you...

electric power from moving air
stored in batteries everywhere
falling water, ocean tides
Sun induced and derived

from the star that we're within
where currents flow as they spin
to the Earth and on beyond
the cosmic corner we belong...

electric power from the Sun
proving that we all are one
