Our love is
A BRUTAL FAIRY TALE.
A fairy tale of reality
With Dried up damascene roses
And Mermaids of wisdom drowning
In female rage
In transgender fear
In sterile male hope
As I unravel the bandages of my mummified ego
To probe my old wounds
Of unrequited obloquy
Of seven-sealed wrath chests
Of question-mark cicatrices
The Hearts are branded for spiritual purposes
By burning copper guilt of Utopia
For their scarification is said to bring heightened control
Over all scars
Focusing
Consequently
On gratitude.
