broken promise

I remember when we first met,
I was really quiet but yet,
you still gave me a chance,
making me believe you wanted more than just what was in my pants,
you told me you loved me, and asked if I felt the same,
I couldn't tell you the truth, so I led you on, with shame.
You said you'd do anything for me, stay with me through thick and thin,
even though I didn't believe you, I was over powered by your honest grin.
you told me that no one else would love me like you do,
you played with my mind, so I thought it to be true.
still feeling guilty, because i feel that your forcing emotions on me,
you can't make someone love you, so I'm sorry.
I felt caged in, and couldn't talk to anyone about it,
if I talked to you about it, you would throw your little fit.
Now that I've found love, and he wants me to be his wife,
you said the hell with me, and told me to stay out of your life.
Now that i think about it, you pomised to do alot for me,
you made me believe it was ment to be,
you really made me think that you were loyal and honest,
but everything we did, everything we said, was just a
broken promise.
