Sea of Clouds

I need to be alone sometimes
to get away...retire
retreat within the Sea of Clouds
escape the seething maya

into the mountains by the sea
into a state of mind
into the way I need to be
when slipping out of time

I need to contemplate, withdraw
to watch the endless stream
of thoughts with feelings intertwined
I need another dream...

sunflakes falling on the ground
butterflies and bees
perfumed flowers all around
warm inviting seas

starlight, moonlight, candles too
music with no words
co-creating all I view
while soaring with the birds

in the mountains by the sea
within the Sea of Clouds...
I need to get away, to flee
from all the maddening crowds
