closer than the breath we breathe
closer than the lives we weave
closer than each thought's faint ghost
we're not so far from space we're close

to the stars and what's in between
the ISM's electron stream
telepathic intertwining
slipping in and out of time in

nanoworlds we do not see
in micro macro harmony
with drops of nectar honey sweet
for someone we are yet to meet

arm in arm and hand in hand
together we will understand
together we will both become
closer than the Earth and Sun

spiraling in constant motion
embracing in a plasma ocean
with energy flowing all around
we're closer than the sound of sound
