JACK THE RIPPER
Jack the Ripper
As darkness falls on gaslit streets, the smog rolls through the air, damp air chokes the lungs, but whose that standing there
All in Black and Doctors bag in hand, the shadows hide his face, it's time for him to hunt you down, London is his place
Girls on every corner, for Tuppence they are yours, life was hard and they were cheap these sad old drunken whores
He'd just walk right up to them, they'd discuss and agree the price, they take him to a quiet street, he seemed so rich and nice
Once in the quiet place, from his bag he drew his knife, he was Jack the Ripper, now he wants your life
Slashing across her throat, her voice was all but gone, far away in the distance you could hear a Pianos song
He stares her in the eyes, the knife goes in so deep, fear and life runs from her face, as the blood begins to seep
Slash, stab, poke and cut, the Surgeon has his needs, pulling entrails from her, placing them on her knees
Cutting off her nipple, slashing her face and nose, she is dead but he's not done, he's ripping up her clothes
Stamping on the Bonnet, the one she brought for luck, she thought it made her pretty, she thought, she'd earn a fuck
But now she lies in tatters, her bodies left on show, to found by the next stranger, travelling past BUCKS ROW
Back in the shadows, the Ripper watches his next girl, where will he strike next, that's one thing we can't tell
So when the smog drops down again, and the gas lamps has been lit, there will be another, whose throat Jack's gonna slit
