My Spanish Girlfriend

Two weeks ago, I ran into a Spanish girl on the beach.
She’s a native of Guantánamo, Cuba.
The problem is that she speaks a foreign language.

How do I say “you’re beautiful" in Spanish?
I want to tell Ramona that I like her smile,
But I don’t know how to say it in her language.

Although we don’t understand each other when we speak,
She’s in love with me, and I’m in love with her.
We write the things we want to say and translate online.

I wish I could speak Spanish fluently.
We can hardly communicate with each other.
She doesn’t know how to tell me about the feelings in her heart,
But I see true love in Ramona’s eyes.

I’m going to visit her native land next summer.
She’ll introduce me to her parents and siblings.
And when we get back, I’ll introduce her to my mom.

I’ll study Spanish, and she’ll study English.
And I’ll marry my cute Spanish girlfriend.
The language barrier won’t prevent us from loving each other.
