odessa keeps fresh vigil still

second chance
though fallen in life's race
rising is no disgrace
odessa keeps fresh vigil still
upon her little hill
sing and dance
your burden clouds away
'tis april's second day
two-timing challenges will come
death rents an empty tomb
in advance

but april when spring skies are blue
humours no random rendezvous
