A Locked Room
I knew a girl
Who held the devil
A goat decorated her back
So sinister and bold
And every night
She talked in sadness
Of trauma she had to endure
That colored her life
Well can't you ride
Just fly and never look back
Say goodbye to the one
Who put you there
I wandered in
To a man so ruthless
His desire brought the fever
In every relationship
He been wronged
Led by the nose every time
Hate festering in waves
Killing everything
Well can't you ride
Just fly and never look back
Say goodbye to the one
Who put you there
I woke up sick
To a place I once knew
Nails and boards of yesterday
Still tightly bound
I'm a second son
Born to remain close behind
My mother told me then
But I couldn't see it
Well can't you ride
Just fly and never look back
Say goodbye to the one
Who put you there
Who held the devil
A goat decorated her back
So sinister and bold
And every night
She talked in sadness
Of trauma she had to endure
That colored her life
Well can't you ride
Just fly and never look back
Say goodbye to the one
Who put you there
I wandered in
To a man so ruthless
His desire brought the fever
In every relationship
He been wronged
Led by the nose every time
Hate festering in waves
Killing everything
Well can't you ride
Just fly and never look back
Say goodbye to the one
Who put you there
I woke up sick
To a place I once knew
Nails and boards of yesterday
Still tightly bound
I'm a second son
Born to remain close behind
My mother told me then
But I couldn't see it
Well can't you ride
Just fly and never look back
Say goodbye to the one
Who put you there
