Casual Death
Every evening passes
Without laughter
Nothing fantastic
I melt into the walls
My voice is unheard
Rustling leaves
Overcoat of iron
Drab and rusted
I am a dying flower
Unattended
In a darkroom
Cold and dry
Sin against the Gods
Sin against humanity
In my deepest longings
Solemn, casual sex
I am drinking again
Casual depression
Casual regret
Pinch me awake
I need another cigarette.
Without laughter
Nothing fantastic
I melt into the walls
My voice is unheard
Rustling leaves
Overcoat of iron
Drab and rusted
I am a dying flower
Unattended
In a darkroom
Cold and dry
Sin against the Gods
Sin against humanity
In my deepest longings
Solemn, casual sex
I am drinking again
Casual depression
Casual regret
Pinch me awake
I need another cigarette.
