Open mic

I wanna stand up on a open mic night and Express my many nights of words I write

I say to myself I want the words I speak to really be about my life down the line to  shine real  bright

But I lack of confidence cause  I feel what I wrote doesn't  sound  so right

I want to be able to give  a great experience
To the people I leave tonight or the night I have the courage to say I wrote this poem

yeah I actually stood up  and said my poem
Other than me just reading it after I wrote it

Brag to couple of people and hear them tell me
Yes girl you need to go to open mic or amateur poetry  gig  to night get connected to world

Continue to write Express your thoughts
It's not a small world  explore explore  I applaud you
You can do it get over your fears

Let yourself cry but it will only be joy of tears
