Keep Up
Don’t try to put me in a box
Keep me in with locks
Or deter me with roadblocks
I’m from my own walk
Stop tossing your rocks
You’re the sinful
Living in a glass home
Clear as crystal
You should throw the last stone
You can judge me
But your attitude is ugly
You should invest in a new mirror
Maybe then you can see clearer
I only speak the truth
And if you need the proof
It floods like a leaking roof
You’re fruitlessly seeking youth
Who knew you could be this aloof
I plug my ears when you speak
Gone are the years that you seek
Welcome the new age
Stop drinking your kool-aid
We’re turning a new page
Leaving you in the stone age
You’ve constructed your own cage
Someday
You may taste the sun’s rays
Realize life is a one way
Your time is over so come play
Keep me in with locks
Or deter me with roadblocks
I’m from my own walk
Stop tossing your rocks
You’re the sinful
Living in a glass home
Clear as crystal
You should throw the last stone
You can judge me
But your attitude is ugly
You should invest in a new mirror
Maybe then you can see clearer
I only speak the truth
And if you need the proof
It floods like a leaking roof
You’re fruitlessly seeking youth
Who knew you could be this aloof
I plug my ears when you speak
Gone are the years that you seek
Welcome the new age
Stop drinking your kool-aid
We’re turning a new page
Leaving you in the stone age
You’ve constructed your own cage
Someday
You may taste the sun’s rays
Realize life is a one way
Your time is over so come play
