I Don’t Know Much
I don’t know much about love.
But. I wanted to tell you this.
Heaven lives in your eyes,
Eternity roars in your kiss.
If perfection exists in this universe,
It is there, within your smile.
Oh, how it makes my chest beat so erratically,
When you pull me up close to your side
.
I don’t know much about love.
I lived a life laced with pain.
But, your energy is just so beautiful,
New life bloomed from the grain.
See though there are thorns
And we may, sometimes, bleed
It strengthens the bond
So we may, plant that seed
I don’t know much about love?
A statement that’s no longer true.
You captured my senses, made me accept there’s
A future, when i’m with you.
But. I wanted to tell you this.
Heaven lives in your eyes,
Eternity roars in your kiss.
If perfection exists in this universe,
It is there, within your smile.
Oh, how it makes my chest beat so erratically,
When you pull me up close to your side
.
I don’t know much about love.
I lived a life laced with pain.
But, your energy is just so beautiful,
New life bloomed from the grain.
See though there are thorns
And we may, sometimes, bleed
It strengthens the bond
So we may, plant that seed
I don’t know much about love?
A statement that’s no longer true.
You captured my senses, made me accept there’s
A future, when i’m with you.
