what’s good for the dad is great for the lad
..what’s good for the dad
is great for the lad
a father said to his son,
we’re one in the same,
both in the same frame,
we are dad and we are son..
on this day lad bonds with dad
on how a man should stand tall,
“a man needs to stand for bravery,
or for anything else he will fall”,
“real men never show fear
and real men don’t ever run”..
“karate, judo or boxing would be great defenses for a son,
then you my lad,
will stand your ground
and never break your fun”,
“even from some bigger ones
or those with a destructive tongue”.. ,
“yes, self defense classes
would definitely help out a ton"..
yes dad”, pondered the young tad
“out your mouth you say”,
“what’s good for my dad
is good for your lad
on any given day”,
“i’ll do what i can to stand like a man,
cause i want to be just like you”..
(quietly under his breath)
that’s why i’ve gone through your bag
and snatched out your gat..
.. and i’m carrying “our” gun to school.
