smoking with you Ax

a cracking low blast
wished a winter wind bringing timeless summer
through clear breaths
as I remember you

laughing through exhailed smoke
outside the pub
just along a bit from your flat
up the walk

before the church
with the high steeple
facing an old boundary
marking the devide between Leith and Edinburgh,

Pah!

I kissed you with all my heart
and inhailed everything that moment had to give
as if my life depended on your breath
your heart

opening up for me to fall through
deep into you
your blue eyes holding me
forever and always

like nothing else mattered anymore
